expectations before the Saturday’s match...
This Saturday
will be the derby of Group C when MKB-MVM Veszprém visits Vardar Skopje.

Ortega, Mirsad Terzic and Máté Lékai shared their thoughts with us.
Antonio Carlos Ortega, couch:
This match is
very important and it will be very difficult, moreover, as always in the
Champions League, we have to play under big pressure. Luckily, Máté Lékai could
return to the team last week, who contributed to our winning against Radnicki.
I am sure that we have to do our best if we want to win as Vardar is a very
good team, especially at home. But I am
totally sure that we will fight for winning during all the 60 minutes. There
will be very heated atmosphere but I hope that it won’t disturb us. This won’t
be new for our players because they have already played in these circumstances
before, so I think that the only thing, which the atmosphere can bother, is the
communication on the court.
Mirsad Terzic, Left
Back:
Vardar is a very
strong team, whose arena has a dreadful atmosphere. We have to play very tough
in Skopje, where everybody has to do his best in order to have a good result.
Hopefully, all our injured players will be able to play, as well. It doesn’t
matter that Vardar is strong or not, firstly, we have to mind our own business and
we have to do everything for winning. The key of success – as always – will be
the tough defence. After an efficient defence we can score easy goals which can
decide the match’s result. In my opinion, our team is in good condition enough to
have a very good performance on Saturday as everybody returned to the team in very
good shape from their national teams. Of course, we needed some days while we
could focus on Veszprém’s tactic 100 percent after being with our national
team. But now everybody is absolutely ready for the weekend.
Máté Lékai, Middle
Back:
First of all, I’m
so happy that I could return to the team after my injury. I hope that I can
recover 100 percent soon, get back my best shape, my senses, my playing style
step by step in order to be useful to the team. Vardar is very strong, especially
at home, because of this I expect a very difficult match. I am sure that they
are also prepared thoroughly for this match. They probably sacrificed their
last match, against Brest because of the match against us. But we were also
working hard during the whole week and I trust in that, we will be better.
